Known for his otherworldly stone vessels, Matthew Fisher’s practice ranges from unique art objects to editioned productions and celebrates the union between heritage, natural materials and refined craftsmanship.

Plinth 7 Arabescato Bluett.

A hand smoothed shallow depression rests atop a carved recessed base. The detailing is developed from the forms of ancient Roman aqueduct segments chiseled from the stone trachyte. The lip functioned as a method of joining one segment to the next. As an object, the shallow catch-all rests quietly as functional sculpture uniquely rooted in history but strikingly modern.

Product Care :

To clean stone, use a microfiber cloth and a PH neutral liquid cleaner formulated for use on stone. Apply the stone cleaner to a microfiber cloth rather than directly to the stone itself to avoid staining the surface or overspray that may damage other finishes. Do not scrub the stone with force or abrasive materials as this will cause micro-abrasions to the stone surface. For best results, we recommend that stone be professionally cleaned or repaired when required.

It is recommended that protective pads be used at the underside of all stone objects to protect adjacent surfaces from damage. Adhesive from protective pads may stain the stone surface to which they are applied.

Details :

17.6 W X 17.6 D x 4.29 H CM

Weight : 2.7 KG

Each piece is unique, colour and veining of natural material may vary from image shown.
